Anyone found affordable headlight lens replacements for 2007 Alphard AH10. Only after an aftermarket. There seems to be only a few around and £200+ for two bits of plastics seems steep. Mine are beyond a re-polish.

Have you tries Amayama ?

I don’t believe you could buy only the outer lens. They come as a complete unit. I will be very interested if only the lens could be replaced. Mine have tiny cracks likely due to aging.
Please share your findings.  🙌

Yes I tried Amayama, best they can do is the headlamp assemblies 'without the computers'. Both left and right for £1,472 including postage! But I think I have found the solution. I am taking them to a specialist polisher In Newton Abbot (who has much better equipment and materials than the DIY kits you can get online) he says he can get them looking very good again. £100 all in for doing both. Leaves me £1,372 left to put into an audio upgrade!

But I also found this on Amazon:

DOFFO Car Headlight Covers For Toyota For Alphard AH10 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 Car Front Headlamp Transparent Lampshade Headlight Assemblies (Color : Left and Right) : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive

£117 for one lens and £217 for both. No idea how easy they would be to fit.

Does look interesting, doesn't it ?

Rather expensive to 'take a chance' on.

Nor does it say anything about UV protection.

Yes, but I suppose you have the safety of Amazon returns, it says returnable within 30 days, and you can buy transparent UV protector that you paint on, it is not expensive. It was not the only listing for the same item:

SZELL Car Front Headlights For Toyota For Alphard AH10 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 Car Front Headlamp Transparent Lampshade Front Headlight Cover (Color : Left and Right) : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive

This one was a little more expensive, used exactly the same stock photos but doesn't appear to be the same supplier.

I can't see this item on Aliexpress at all. My guess is they are 'new, old stock' and no longer in production. The item probably sold as an aftermarket by China to Japan in meaningful quantities some years ago. Present volume means larger suppliers generally don't have them and just a few select suppliers do.

If my professional polish doesn't work out then I am going to take the risk but it would be nice to know if any fitters here that think from the pictures it could be fitted. It would probably have to have a new flexible seal put around it.

Polishing would clear the scratches and most of the yellowing but not the tiny cracks.  These lens looks like a possibility. Removing the headlamp is straightforward. Can’t remember how they are sealed together. 🤔
