Dear fellow alpharders

I recently experienced some excess vibration while driving, took the van to local garage which I always use. They have found out some problems and listed the car parts I need to buy. They could not get any of the parts from their suppliers. My question is where do you guys buy car parts for your alphard/vellfire? I did not have any luck after putting parts number on Ebay/ google, I might call toyota directly tomorrow to see if they will supply these. Does the van share parts with any other models here in the UK, or perhaps with Lexus .My van is a AH20 toyota vellfire 2008 3.5 4WD. Any help will be appreciated,car.thumb.jpg.9edc851c026fe0311d909bbff53bf035.jpgThanks Josh.

I have got servicing parts directly from my local dealership before without any problems.

They’re probably not the cheapest, but they always have them.

I've noticed that Autodoc list parts for various Alphard and Vellfire models. I have bought parts from them before for other vehicles but not my Alphard. Delivery can take a few days though so if you're in a rush perhaps not the best option.

Hi guys I would like to share my experiences about how I got the parts and fix my car. After searching for parts and got no luck, I decided to look for them from supplier in China/Japan. Since these cars are so popular over there, getting the right parts are not a big deal and price is reasonable. I managed to get all the parts I need, plus the some spark plugs , some rubber parts/ dust covers for the shocks as well. Now the car drives like new after changing the parts ,I am really happy about the results. If anyone struggling to get the right parts , please let me know, I have dealt with the supplier now, the parts are genuine and fits perfectly.

I tend to use Amayama in Osaka, as they tend to be very good.

Only thing you have to be careful of....if you open the Toyota packaging and the part is incorrect they won't replace/refund you.  Otherwise for smaller items it's decent as their prices are reasonable compared to UK dealer pricing even with shipping.

For example, I ordered wing mirror glass (the wrong one which they won't take back lol) for about 80 quid all in, supplied here it's nearly 160 quid plus vat!

Josh, please put full details of your suppliers on the Forum, it would be a great help. Cheers

Anyone need some parts from toyota please DM me, I am happy to help . The supplier is a local Chinese supplier, not sure if they could communicate in English, I was lucky enough that I hand carried my shafts and other parts back to the UK, because I was travelling there to see my families. Considering the cost of shipping ,tax/vat , the cost could be much more , but still some of these parts are just not possible to get here.
