I thought the Gen 1 facelift had an electric steering rack; I must be wrong.

 

Jap Auto spares for a pre owned unit ?

 

 

Hello 2002 - 2008 is pump 2008 onwards is manual rack they have electric steering colum

Apparently, they only sell new parts; no pre-owned parts.

URGENT!!!! DESPERATELY SEEKING A USED EXHAUST MANIFOLD

I’ve just bought a 2003 Alphard Camper and the exhaust manifold has gone!!!!!! Going to cost £960 plus import and taxes to get one from Japan.
Need to be using it as my sole car so am now without transport.
I’m a bit fed up to say the least.
Anyone have contacts for used parts?

I would have thought it very unusual for an exhaust manifold to be "gone".

 

Do you mean cracked ?

If so it may be weldable.

 

Or perhaps an exhaust gasket has failed.

 

Has a qualified mechanic diagnosed the problem ?

My garages first experience with Alphards. Lots of folk saying same about the manifold. 
they’ve said it’s the cat and that’s integrated. Can a cat be replaced depending?

any ideas for experienced garages in Scotland, north England?
