Electric door wire has snapped, any tips on where to get one from? The motor is fine just the metal wire that needs replacing.

Jap Autos in Southampton keeps the wires in stock as failure is a common problem. (The only thing they sell apart from Alphards are door cables.) Don’t know if they post them out, but might be worth trying. 02380 224764 japautos@yahoo.com

    What is the wire below the glass on the sliding door for? I'm looking at it and I can't work it out.

    Sorry, just seen your post. I assume (but don’t know) that the wire is what what moves the door.
