Hi and happy to be have accepted into the club.

We are awaiting delivery of our Toyota Alphard Campervan which we bought 2 days ago from Fife Van and Motorhome Centre in Cowdenbeath. It is a 2006  2.4 litre which was converted in 2021 by Calders Campers.

Highly recommend the team in Fife who were very helpful to us " campervan virgins" and gave us as much time as we needed to decide without any " hard sell" tactics which included letting us take the camper out for a short spin before the final decision was made.

Have insured it today with Adrian Flux ( agent Kieren) who again was really helpful and got a great price including medical, legal, European and personal item cover. Also replacement campervan cover if we were unable to drive ours as a result of accident.

NFU had told us yesterday that I could not use 9 years plus no claims cover for the vehicle whilst  the team at Adrian Flux said I could so that was extremely reassuring.

Anyway, we are looking forward to being part of the forum and hopefully let you know how we get on once we are " on the road " so to speak. Bound to have loads of questions!
