Hi can I check with you guys if your Alphard Hybrid series 30 will be very uncomfortable on the road. I bought this 2023 car recently but even i chg the rims and tyres to 17" and bridgestone tyres 50 profile. I can feel every bumps and vibration on the road which makes the ride very uncomfortable and shaky. Can we do anything to improve or is this car faulty etc. Please help. Thank you.

What’s the original alloy size? Using smaller wheels will always increase the road feedback

also check to see if the suspension looks OEM

welcome the best way forward is to get it up on a ramp and have it inspected specially the suspension such as springs shock absorbers a 2018 model should not be having these problems you desribe .

Previously is using smaller rims now is a bigger rims.

I've sent it for a check but the workshop claims that nothing wrong with the absorbers. But I just feel very bumpy when in the car.

When you look inside the drivers door "hole" you will see a white sticker at the back --on it will be the factory wheel/tyre size.

I suspect it is 235/50/18.  If you have bigger wheels with lower profile tyres it will make the ride more harsh -eg 235/40/19

if the wheel/tyre size is factory then shine a torch Up under the fender behind a front wheel.  The shock absorber sits there.

You should see a black shock and black coil spring. If either are any other color then that means after market suspension has been fitted.

Whils in there -towards the top of the shock inside the spring is a rubber boot. If its torn or just loose slide it aside and check the shock isn't leaking oil.
