I am considering changing my beloved Mazda Bongo for an Alphard or Vellfire, as I don't have space to take my grandchildren in the Bongo.  I will have this as a campervan and have found somewhere to do this conversion.

I have been told (by my mechanic) that it is much harder to get parts for these, than it is for the Bongo.  Is this really an issue, or is it that he loves Bongos and knows the Bongo community?  I don't want to change my incredibliy reliable Bongo, for a vehicle I can't get looked after.  I am in Brighton.

Hello Jilly,

Welcome to the Forum.

Getting parts for an Alphard can present problems.

Picasso, here on the forum will provide part numbers for your vehicle, and often where to buy them.

Body panels can be tricky, and expensive; although available from overseas shipping can be horrendous.

Before buying any Alphie make sure you know where you can get it serviced properly.

Good Luck
