I have 2008 Velfire series 2 ANH120. Been researching radio replacement as I want to maintain usability as all factory fitted components fully working at present. 
 

I live on Isle of Wight and Northstar have given me a quote but cannot connect to original video and would need to replace. 
Mainland company have quoted nearly £3000  plus 2 nights ( hotel stay) whilst they carry out work) and top of range Pioneer latest model. 
I have now found local company who have been extremely helpful and after listening to our requirements have suggested the above model with new front and connectivity for original video and steering wheel controls but have to replace rear camera. at less than £1500 fitted. 
 

we have also requested quotes for a dash cam to be fitted at same time and this quote will follow. 
 

Is this the way to go or any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Looked at some Honda's and an Alphard in Gosport not long before we bought our Vellfire. The salesman did say that they regularly replace head units on Honda's (and I think Toyota's too) for £500 but I'm not sure if that includes connecting up to existing monitors. 

Have a google at japanautos.co.uk and maybe give the guy a call and see how wrong my memory is?

Hi - I live in Essex with a 2008 gen 2 Alohard - we used a company in Bishops Stortford who fitted an Alpine head unit that works perfectly with all steering wheel controls and rear camera and has apple carplay - company is Audiofile Incar - cost was around £800 fitted and done in a day.
