Low idle after warning light and cut out

Please move this to the right topic if I haven't posted in the right place. 

 

I've had my 2012 Vellfire for 2 years now and it's been brilliant.  But

 

A few weeks ago it cut out (for a millisec) and when it came on the power steering warning light came on.  When I googled it, it said if it stays on book in to see the garage urgently but if it goes off book it in for a check, so made a note to book it in.  

 

It's been fine since and I forgot to get onto the garage but yesterday the power cut briefly, again whilst driving round a corner, the steering light came on again. When I parked up and stopped the car I noticed something odd about the way the car turned off, then realised all the lights on the dash were off (which is unusual) and that the power button had completely stopped working. I had to exit the car, lock it and unlock it and then it worked again, but the engine sounded weird.  It has had a really low idle since then and the radio (NHZN-W61G) is asking for my mothers maiden name (is this a translation issue do you think or is it actually wanting the maiden name of the original owner?)

 

Has anyone has problems with low idle after a power outage before and is there anything I can do to resolve it prior to taking it to the garage. 

And can someone give me an idea of how to get radio 2 back on my car haha!

I have managed to get the ERC code and now have the radio unlock code but it's not accepting it.. very strange
