Hi our 2007 Alphard makes a rubbing, binding sort of noise briefly, mostly when turning hard left, but can even do it on the straight. Any ideas, our quickest notion is brakes binding? Not parking brake though as does it when it's not been on.

My quickest notion was old brake fluid.

When was yours last changed ?

It is very difficult to detect slowly diminishing brake performance.

We had our yearly service in November, but we also think brakes. The garage heard the noise and put it up on the ramps to look at brakes. They had thought wheel plate for a while and then brakes.

That was the last we heard about 5.30pm. Fingers crossed we get good news in the am. Thanks for your reply.

They cleaned and greased the brakes, but it turned out to be a wheel bearing. Don't know how much that will cost since they ordered it before we could check the price out.

I just had the same problem, only picked up the car on Saturday last week. Where did you end up getting the part from, my garage said they can't get the part
