Hello all. We are looking at buying an Alphard for occasional camping trips so a converrted or partially completed vehicle is on our requirement list. I am just unsure which year or model to go for. I have read that some Alphards suffered from excessive oil consumption and having been down that route in the past with a car I am not keen to repeat the expereince again.

I am considering a 2.4Litre ULEZ compliant vehicle apart from that am open to suggestions.

ULEZ compliant ? You need 2006 onward.
