My Vellfire (2010 3.5, 4wd) has a whine/grinding noise from the Differential, have been told this is probably the Magnetis coupling bearing failure, as I never use the four wheel drive, could the prophase be removed from gearbox to diff, without to much problem and would it effect the car

I have resolved to noise problem , have fitted a replacement factory coupling, thanks for any reply’s
