KZak732 Posted Thursday at 05:07 PM Posted Thursday at 05:07 PM Hello to all forum users. I am new here and although my car has not arrived yet, I already have a question. My car is a 2020 Alphard hybrid 6AA-AYH30W. The car has a tunnel connected to the console between the front seats. I really want to remove this tunnel with the storage compartment. I would like to install turntables under the front seats. Has anyone done anything? Please give me your opinions or experience. I am disabled and I plan to travel a bit around Europe. This change will allow me to install swivel seats in the front and make it easier for me to get behind the stering wheel.

You are very fortunate to have such a recent vehicle. I suspect you may be a pioneer of this model in the UK. The only company I know of that installs rotating seats in the front (in earlier models) is North Star IOW. Perhaps you should give them a call to enquire. I would be very cautious of universal plates that are designed for VWs.
Chris.ac Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago That centre console contains the hybrid battery pack, and some of the electrics for the management and cooling are under the seats. You might not be able to do what you are trying to do without serious modification
