The club is undergoing a big upgrade at the moment, there may be a few things not quite right for a day or two.

So around 3 weeks ago I brought an alphard. 2006 2.4 petrol all was great for about 20 miles. Now cranks but no start anyone have any ideas? I have replaced battery, coil packs sparkplugs and it's throwing no codes just cranks and nothing more. I'm at a dead end now and have no idea what to try next.

Obvious steps were taken it's got a full battery and is in park.

do you now if your getting petrol up to the injectors as sounds more like fuel issue blown fuse or relay could even be electric pick up pump in tank what you need to do first see if your getting petrol up to the injectors . and let us know

Fuel pump seems to be working fine had it out earlier today and was working good. Yet to check at injectors

Only got one key with the car unfortunately. Is there a way of trying to reprogramme it?

Yes. there is a sequence process that works for some and not for others.

I strongly suggest you buy another blank, at least one; and have it programmed by an auto electrician.

It won't be cheap, but neither is being locked out of your vehicle if you lose your only key.

4D67 is the chip type, but they are not battery operated.

Hopefully the problem is the key, and not the ignition part of the immobiliser.

Another potential problem is that, when I had my sets of keys made, a master key was required, which, thankfully, I had.

The auto-locksmith that did mine made additional master keys; more expense but more peace of mind.

Good luck.

At the moment my main am is to at least get it running but will be purchasing a spare sooner rather than later

But if it is the key at fault, my guess is you will have no choice but to get another.

The keys are less than £20ish.

If you can programme it using the previously mention process, it is a cheap get you running approach.

UPDATE: Now thinking timing has skipped and will be delving deeper into it and checking timing ect
