owsu Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Does anyone know why there are no vertical towbar options for the alphard/vellfire? I have seen horizontal removable ones like mentioned here https://uk.alphardclub.com/forums/topic/7018-removable-swan-neck-and-fixed-flange-towbars-now-available/#comment-20070 Is it a clearance issue? Or the height of the ball joint when fitted?

Carl Millis Posted Sunday at 04:54 PM Posted Sunday at 04:54 PM Hi Owsu, Unfortunately although my preference would always be to try to make use of vertical detachables in the case it wasn't possible due to the spare wheel location as well as ground clearance. I had to use a horizontal detachable. This Towbar has been incredibly popular. More so than we would have imagined. To be honest I wouldn't have thought there were that many of these vehicles in the UK. It's still a neat installation and we have had no real feedback. In my role designing Towbars no news is always good news. There are permanently in stock and the fitting instructions can be viewed online. Cheers Carl
