Hi,

I have purchased an excellent AH10 Camper.

i replaced the AFS front headlights with non AFS headlights resulting in the AFS dash light constantly flashing.

can someone please tell me where the AFS swivel control unit is 100% located in order that I can disconnect it.

i have checked all 3 fuse boxes and there is not a separate AFS fuse to remove.

cheers

John

Welcome John I did not think this could be done by changing the headlights will be interested if it works ok if your on about the module it’s behind the rear wheel I forget which side there is a module bolted to the under side it’s plugged in and a link bar coming off that to the floating axle if your looking to sell your old head lamps if they are clear ones I might be interested buying them off you .

Hi my Alphard is a 2.4 FWD.

the headlights work perfectly in every way except for the AFS light flashing.

the AFS unit is not located at the rear - it’s either at the front passenger side or drivers side kick panel and is a flat unit either silver or black about the size of a pack of cards, normally with Headlamp Levelling printed on it.

thanks for your replies.

Hi Lee,

My original AFS headlights work perfectly (passed MOT with no advisories a month ago at Struans Leisure in Perth where I purchased the vehicle).

(Since then I've fitted a full stainless steel exhaust (with Euro 4 Cat) system, new rear calipers, discs & pads, 345W Solar panel, new 100ah Lithium Leisure battery and refurbed the lovely 19" original alloys).

I replaced the headlamps with an absolutely pristine non-AFS pair as they had yellowed with age but i have been assured that they will come up well if a decent headlight restoration kit is used (which I bought).

Let me know if you are still interested.

Cheers

John
