Hi lovely Alphard owners, and Happy New Year. I bought my Vellfire last summer and after trialling a couple of mini trips I am now preparing for travel in France/Europe. I have applied successfully for a Crit'air sticker for my other vehicle which is a non imported car. This is a new requirement if you're taking your car/vanother motor vehicle to France. It identifies which category your vehicle falls in if you are visiting cities with clean air rules (like ULEZ here). It is a one off fee of less than £5 and last the life of the vehicle. When I looked at the V5 for my Vellfire for the emissions data which are required for the Crit'air website they are not shown on my V5, has anyone else had this issue/resolved it and if so I would be grateful if you can advise me. In case anyone else needs it this is the web address for the official French Govt Crit'air site https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/ - on the first page there is a click box to change the language to English.

Meantime I shall write to DVLA to see if they are able to clarify how to fill this form out, but if anyone else has been successful in registering their import I would be keen to hear how you did this. Many thanks Betty🤔

This post prompted me to try and get this certificate as we plan to travel in France with our Alphard camper this Spring. Initially it looked quite daunting, particularly as the V5 for our 2008 Alphard also does not have any emissions information on it. A search of the internet was fruitless. However, by patiently delving into this web site showed that you could apply for the certificate based on the type of fuel and the year of manufacture, and you did not need to submit a CO2 figure, just leave it blank. Our Alphard turned out to be Euro 4, which gave it a category 2. I have received several emails from the French authorities with lastly, an email version of the certificate that I can use until the physical one arrives by post, which they said would take about a week.
