Hi everyone

Having had my Toyota alphard 2.4 hybrid 2004 running well having cured the water leak that was causing it to fail I was delighted until this morning when the car suddenly failed. It restarted after 10 minutes but then failed after a minute or so. It has done this 3 times. The dash display is shown below. I don’t currently have a code reader to hand. Any thoughts and suggestions please?

I have just got a fault scan an no fault codes stored! It is starting again but not knowing why it failed I do not know whether to try driving it again!

Ours did it once, after going through a large puddle on the motorway.

After about 15 minutes, we had a jump start and everything ok....until the winter and a few no starts. We bought a new battery and no trouble since

(Fingers crossed!!!)

Thanks.

I have had some diagnostics by a very helpful RAC patrolman.

In case anyone is interested I will post them below.

AI tells me it’s likely to be HV ecu!
