Are the floor rails themselves "generic" or peculiar to Toyota?

Hi, can anyone tell me if the seat floor rails themselves are generic ie the same as for example a VW T5 or are they peculiar to toyota??  am looking to add locking mechanisms for my own build and would like to know where to start looking lol
