Hi I have a 2013 alphard g's model and just recently the dials have been playing up the rev counter the speedo and the temperature gauge keep dropping out while driving and all the warning lights come on, the fuel gauge works fine that doesn't drop out.

It has had a speedometer converter put on it to change it from km to mph not sure if that would be a cause as it was working fine for for the past year. Any advice would be much appreciated

That would be the first thing to check.

My importer had someone do this and it was not done well. They used piggyback fuse that wobbled in the holder.

Removing the speedometer dash is actually very easy to do. So unless you fitted yourself and are sure it was done well, check how the unit is wired, it connects to the canbus wires that provide much of the data including what you describe as occasionally failing.

Thank you the converter was my first thought it was done by the previous owner just before I bought it, I will see if I can remove it and test the instruments without it.
