Swapping wheels on GGH25

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am looking to get an additional set of wheels for my GGH25 Vellfire. It came with 235/50/18 set. Someone local listed a set of wheels for Alphard, but those are 215/65/16. I did some research and wheel-size dot com states GGH25 came with either of those from the factory. Can this info be trusted? Are there any other considerations while changing the wheel? Is it just a simple swap, provided that they fit? Many thanks thanks, Matt.

I have used Do they Fit ? in the past.

Two things are important.

Rolling circumferance, otherwise your speedo will become inaccurate.

Wheel arch clearances, especially under dynamic loads, otherwise you can wreck your tyres.

I believe Will they Fit will compute both these varaibles to help you decide what action to take, if any.

IF you fit non-standard size wheel / tyre combinations (other than those specified by Toyota, you should inform your insurance company.

Thank you for your response. So it seems those are OEM size wheels. I found this page, which is amazing info for what I needed! LINK
