Torq2u Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 2005 2.4 Alphard My ABS warning light came on (and has stayed on) at the same time as my ASF warning light started flashing. I think I read that the ASF sensor is front driver's side, so can I deduce that it's this ABS sensor that's faulty? Any suggestions much appreciated, including sourcing replacement sensors. ASF = A Superflous Feature??? PS where's the diagnostic connection socket? Thanks
nov Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 ASF is the front lights auto cornering feature & the OBD socket is just above the brake pedal
Torq2u Posted August 12, 2021 Author Posted August 12, 2021 Thanks. Found the socket with the help of my pet octopus and a mirror
Torq2u Posted August 16, 2021 Author Posted August 16, 2021 Turns out it was not an ABS fault but the battery is too small. So, a better one is on its way ......
