2003 MK1 heater control

Hello all, I drive a 2.4 2003 Alphard with a broken Heater Control. The number on back is 55900 - 58020 and has 3 ports . I've been looking for a few weeks now for replacement without much luck. Did get a one from online scrapper a 55900 - 58010 unit with same 3 ports but it did not function at all. Apart from the original numbered part, is there any other unit that would work in my motor ? There are some 2 port units out there, on a popular selling site without the sonar port and I'm wondering if that would do ? Does any members have similar experience of replacing theirs and what worked for them. Any help or info most appreciated. Safe driving !
