  1. Hi Gerry In my opinion the 2.4 is underpowered anyway before adding conversion weight. 3.0 or even better the hybrid I think. Mine is 2005 and doesn't have this issue
  2. I found plenty on how to enable EV only mode of Prius' of the same era, tried the same pins on my E-Four but no joy If any knowledgeable person can give me a clue how to do this mod on an ATH10 2005 Alphard Hybrid please let me know The HV battery seems to be only 6.5Ah which is tiny. I have been thinking about a li-ion upgrade which is straightforward but to get the potential benefits I need to find EV only mod methinks

  4. Hi, Canterbury ATH10 owner here The issue is not hybrid specific, I would suggest the mechanical bits of the running gear need checking. Drive shafts, ball joints, track rod ends, drop links, tyres, and wheel alignment. Another thought would be the ABS wheel sensors, the traction control system will use these to measure wheel slip i imagine, so if the perforated disc the ABS sensor looks at is warped or has blocked holes perhaps it would cause such an issue Food for thought?
