Thank you it does correspond with me removing the stereo to replace it with another unit which subsequently came with the wrong harness, if it plugs into the head unit how does effect a stereo change ?

That's interesting as the instructions say push down to engage, up to accelerate and resume and pull forward to cancel, I will try it again tomorrow.

Yes it lights up green saying cruise control but nothing engages

Hi I purchased a cruise control kit off the usual sites, standard fit to the steering wheel, all screws and fixings as advised, 2 wired from the unit to the car, live wire into the multi block connector next to the blue wire, black wire spliced into the earth wire, cruise control turns in but will not activate, what am I missing or is there something else I need to connect to ?

I have brimmed the tank today and reset the count, we will see where it goes from here, which ever way it's a great vehicle

Hi I have had this fault since I removed the centre cowel to fit a new stereo, I think it relates to the gearbox speed sensor, can anyone confirm advise differently please.

Hi me again, what sort of economy should I be getting ? I put £50 in last week it's done 140 miles since and gauge seems to be dropping very quickly, any advice please

Hi all Eml came on yesterday once in drive and moving, it's not on on initial start up, Google points to O2 sensor, any ideas as it appears to be running as normal

Iso conversion kit? The new stereo had 3 totally different plugs to the 5 on the main harness used on the original stereo

Yes I'm of the same opinion as it is not requested at the quoting stage,just asks if it is manufacture installed, typical insurance

Yes just read that in the booklet, I would imagine it's the same with most insurers, I will look at getting a Thatcham tracker fitted

Hi all I need some tech advice, I am going to replace my head unit and install the cruise control, I plan to disconnect the neutral on the battery to disable the air bag, my question is will it result in any issues once I reconnect?
