  6. Hi there I'm new to this forum but hoping someone here would be able to to help me ! We have just recently bought our alphard 2.4 2008 and went to a few insurance companies who bounced us right back saying they couldn't insure us due to the vehicle being a japanese import. We did however find an insurer reasonably priced, entered our registration and full vehicle details but upon reading all the insurance documents they have sent us , they have listed it as a different model and I'm sure it's down for them as an 8 seater Aventis??? I am confused how this has happened and nervous that our insurance will become invalid considering the model they are listing is not the same as our Alphard ?? Has anyone else been in the same position and knows where we stand on this ? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read! Victoria
