  1. Hello - The orange engine warning light on my 2005 Alphard is showing and I'm having difficulty finding a local mechanic/garage who can diagnose the problem. Toyota dealers say they can't help as it's an import. I'm hoping somebody on here might know of someone in the Bristol area who can check it out. Vehicle is a 3L V6 and running fine otherwise, there's a rush of air when the petrol cap is removed, and the dash light is not flashing. Any advice greatly appreciated.
  2. Many thanks Baz - that's something I'd not thought of and looks a very sound solution. Appreciate the advice regarding the negative impact on the resale value of the van too.
  3. Hello everybody - We've just joined the growing band of Alphard owners. Ours is a converted 2005 MZ V6 and we're delighted with it so far. Looking forward to lots of UK based trips this year and this forum with the advice and experience of others will definitely come in very useful. One quick question to begin: does anyone have experience of fixing a keder rail to the roof of their Alphard so an awning can be directly attached? Unsure if best to screw to the plastic trim or glue - or both. Any thoughts or advice gratefully received. Thanks
