    Hi everyone, I’m experiencing a peculiar issue with my 2008 Toyota Alphard Hybrid (E-FOUR). Here’s what’s happening: The car usually starts fine and drives normally. However, occasionally when switching from EV mode to engine mode, the engine fails to start. Attempting to start again produces a high-pitched “wiiiiiing” noise, almost like a starter motor or magnetic clutch isn’t engaging. No warning lights appear on the dashboard. I suspect it might be related to the sprag clutch or starter/motor components, but I’m not certain. If any hybrid transmission experts have encountered a similar issue or can offer guidance, your advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much in advance.
