Pop Up Roof Mattress
We are currently waiting for our conversion to be completed. Does anyone have any idea on approximately how much space there will be once the pop up roof is closed. I want to order a memory foam mattress and cant decide on the the depth? I shall want to store it up there with the roof closed.

Curtain Tracks on Windows
Has anyone fitted curtain tracks to the Alphard windows? Curious to know how easy this is to do and if anyone has any tips?

Insurance
Can anyone advise us on insurance for our Alphard. We will be able to collect the vehicle next week but it will not be converted until December/January 2018 - as the roof has to be ordered. We're very confused on how I insure it until this time. Is it classed as an MPV now and then when its converted we have to change it to a campervan? Can anyone recommend companies that insure these vehicles. Thanks in advance!

Hi Ron, We've just bought our Alphard from Ian Taylor's Campers in Stoke on Trent : http://www.japcarimport.co.uk/ Its not a swish show room but the guy is very friendly - no hard sell. Got lots of Alphards and Bongos. What swung it for us is he gives 3 years warranty. We're having to wait a while for the conversion and the roof to be fitted but will be able to pick up and use the vehicle in the meantime until the roof has arrived.
