  6. your engine only takes 5 litres you need to ask garage how many liters they put in i recon they put at least 6 litres or even more which seems a very silly thing for your garage to do fingers crossed your ok did your engine smoke by any chance as this would be a sign of burning oil
  7. peter have you just had this serviced by a garage only asking because you say you will be reimbursed
  8. Peter do not run it with that amount of oil in it as it will push pass the piston rings and damage other parts of the engine in time

  15. had mine done about 6 months ago £180 labor to replace both arms + cost of arms which i supplied parts £120 for both arms
  16. Phil cheaper and quicker to replace the 2 front arms you could just replace the bushes but garage would need to take arms off then press old bush out new one in then put back on replacing the arms means you be getting both bushes done as there are 2 bushes on each arm
  17. Hello henry i think you been lucky to find some one willing to rebuild your gear box to be honest I don't know what a fair price is to rebuild it I personally pay it as you will struggle to find a gear box for it.

Hello Gordon might be a daft question I do know on the 2.4 hybrid they have what’s called a fuseable link I don’t know if they have one on the normal 2.4 only saying this because a friend of mine had the hybrid and when he had the fuse go he had no electrics if you pm me your reg no.
