  1. On the 20series hybrid, the aux battery is stored here (on 10series it is at rear of centre console between front seats. I have first aid kit here, with ice scraper. I even believe there is an official Toyota tyre pump that can fit here.
  2. D4S HID bulbs from amazon, about £20 a pair (replace both at same time, as once one burns out, the other is not usually far behind. Easy to do, wear gloves. Manual here: http://zatonevkredit.ru/repair_manuals/viewdoc_html/AWI4O_qhU9h2CeTmduUr/AWI4PsUCBFyj9RK37Lyi
  3. If it's just radio, honestly, get a dab receiver or radio receiver that connects to the headunit via a selectable frequency that you can receive. I guess it depends on your budget and how integrated you want it. Personally, I use a radio app on phone and connect via Bluetooth (I have unlimited data on my mobile network)
  4. Here are jacking points for 10series: http://fsm.japanclassic.ru/toyota/2002.5_7a037_alphard_anh1,mnh1/x339/servinfo/x33900001aw000f_base.html
  5. its in Japanese, so open in Chrome browser and use the translate button. http://fsm.japanclassic.ru/toyota/2002.5_7a037_alphard_anh1,mnh1/x339/mokuzi/repair_10.html
  6. I thought this has been discussed in the 20 series forum, the 10 and 20 series are completely different security systems, there is no magic sequence of door open/close lights on/off that will work on a 20 series. If you have a laptop, you can buy the software and cable to program keys for under £50 (techstream and vci cable), Erased fob ( 3, 4 or 5 button depending on spec) for around £60. Programming literally takes less than 40seconds, but you also gain full diagnostics tool and dealer level configuration of the onboard control systems (Locks, lights, buzzer volume, courtesy lights, flashing indicators/beeps on lock/unlock, internal temp calibration, auto light sensitivity, auto lock on/off on 'Park' gear selection, window control via remote/physical key etc)
  7. Orange on the switch is just paint, no led. Also, have you disconnected battery at some point? On 20 series, the rear doors and the boot have seperate ecu with memory, you need to manually open and close each door to reset, or disconnect battery, ensure all doors are closed, then reconnect battery. Refer to the electrical component guide here: https://slideplayer.com/amp/10248235/
  8. Full repair manual here: http://zatonevkredit.ru/repair_manuals/viewdoc_html/AWI4O_qhU9h2CeTmduUr/AWI4O_qhU9h2CeTmduUr Wiring also available on same site: http://zatonevkredit.ru/schemes/path/90a45b34bb471b85daf79431205dd16c7c5009004f2558c4bff746db680ee3264eea8378b243d80f87eee5ef10fd8089c3b27b93851926bf18b15e72949f7d17f783ae9b6176a725629ad952f46c5131ae68f36c0d651a4baed23da6fd64b18f0dd0d22d3d3063d3143d224843a3d3df574af772b64753d15a0dd471e6d2158f2513c2d15fa687a187e0b484db4c4c1bd5ce99
  9. It's weird that it happened with keys on side, I'd open fob and check there is no surface corrosion on the circuit board, and check the rubber buttons for gunk, maybe some moisture/condensation built up?
  10. Press 1st button top row, press the top right screen button to turn off front display From that screen you can also press the top middle screen icon to open/close roof screen
  11. Replied to a previous post on this question
  12. I think I mentioned in another thread, that you align them with the mark on the headlamp lens (in your photos, you can see a small round circle on the headlamp glass. That's the beam centre, so glad that aligns with the garage beam adjuster equipment! Might have been on a 20 series post, the 20 series has small dimple marks on the inner surface of the lens.

  14. in that case, as long as you have an alphard that is not early 2002, you should have plug 'n play CC
  15. You have to keep it in context with the year of manufacture. reverse camera had been available since mid to late 90s on Toyota, they then introduced front and side, expanding to 360, by the time 2015 rolled around is when they started installing digital rear view mirrors, and on newer models they now have telemetrics that capture dashcam for use in accidents. The tint, in fairness is a film, so you could use a scalpel to remove a small square of it.
  16. Look into the 30series parts, some of these had digital internal mirror that allowed you to either use it 'standard' mode as glass, or switch to the rear camera mounted at top of glass. Alternative would be to get a camera that uses one of the number plate light sources to mount a camera/led
  17. only easy on the facelift models as these had electronic throttle - I believe the 2002 has a cable throttle. Someone else might clarify, or you could check you throttle housing and see if it is cable driven
  18. vaug.club/kb/ Download the SRS sheet, has all the ervice data on it, oil, coolant, alignments for 20 series.
  19. Not so sure the expansion tank is an an accurate way to gauge, hence its min/max markings. August was particularly good this year, I would imagine natural expansion/contraction due to external temperature may contribute to such a small change.
  20. If anyone is interested, alphard is there too. manual.toyota.jp/alphard/ Only 2nd gen onwards, can even get copy of the navi headunit, if you want to see how the reverse cam, auto parking works etc
  21. manual.toyota.jp/vellfire/ They have April 2010, and Oct 2011 Manuals. Open link on Google chrome, and use its built in translate to direct the correct manual
  22. If you can't find copy, I have a copy on my Google drive
  23. You can download official Japanese one from Toyota as a pdf
  24. In a bit slow recently, but the official owners manual lists 16, 17 and 18 inch
