  2. Reluctantly selling my Toyota Alphard 2.4 2006 model. Imported October 2021 at that time serviced and underseal, with mileage 127,240KM now 131,169KM = 81.504 miles. Transmission fluid changed Nov 21, Four Avon All Seasons tyres fitted March 22, oil change October 22. It has Apple Car Play on the Japanese Head Unit, also cd and mini disc. Electric sliding doors, 110 volt inverter suitable for charging laptops etc, owners manual, rear boot Alphard mat, nice condition. MOT October 2023. Recent trip to Yorkshire 500 miles and no problems. Looking for £6999.
  3. Yes you are correct, that is the connector, the wire colours No 1 blue with a yellow stripe No 3 red. I haven’t been out yet as the battery is on charge but it still works with the hand brake off
  4. I have installed Apple Car Play via an adaptor unit and it works fine until I release the handbrake when it goes off. I presume this is so you can’t watch the front screen whilst driving. I have seen on the Mk2 there are 2 wires for the handbrake and speed sensor to disconnect, I presume it is the same for the 2006 Mk1 with the Toyota larger screen fitted. I have found wiring information for the Mk2 even information on the connectors at the rear of the head unit but nothing of use for the Mk1 Alphard.
  5. Hi I have installed this into my 2006 series 10 Alphard and when I release the hand brake the screen goes off. As Chris has informed me above I need to disconnect two wires on the head unit, one for the speed sensor and one for the handbrake Chris’s Alphard is a series 20 and different to mine. Can anyone advise me on which plug it is and what colour are the wires. 6. Hope you don’t mind me asking Did you just cut the wires then tape them up?
  7. Thank you for your prompt reply. Yes mine is a series 10. Trying to find a wiring diagram is difficult I can find one for lots of Toyota models but not Alphard.
  8. From your previous post you say you have to cut two wires so the screen does not go blank over 5mph, what are the colours of the wires and where are they located at the back of the head unit.
  9. Next question does the KEY 1 and KEY 2 wires need to be connected if so where to.
  10. Just checked in the Toyota Parts list and 86100-58011 will fit my Alphard
  11. Just realised it is a Hybrid so won’t fit my Alphard, Sorry
  12. Do you have the Japanese head unit for sale?
  13. Since my last post I have managed to break my head unit. Has anyone out there got one for sale? Must have working cd and minidisc player. Please advise on cost. It’s for a 2006 Alphard.
  14. Can anybody help me with the wiring colours so that I can connect this unit so that I get Apple Car Play in my Alphard. Also how does the small connection board fit to give me touch screen? Also key 1
  15. As I have said that part number is for the oil pump strainer not gearbox. The only reason for checking is in the part number list on the forum there is listed a number for the strainer 35330-28010. Which I believe is for the early 2002 Alphard.
  16. Hi just checked that’s not the gearbox oil strainer but the engine strainer attached to the oil pump in the engine. So yes my part number must be correct.
  17. Yes my number came from the Epic Toyota Parts list. Where about did you get that number? Is it for the kit or strainer?
  18. I am looking at a gearbox strainer for my 2.4 2006 Alphard two wheel drive, according to the Toyota parts list the part number is 35330-06010 BluePrint number ADT32145 which according to their list fits a Toyota Camry 2000-2006. Is this the part ?
  19. Not sure when the dealer sent it, it could have been 15/10 because I returned the signed form to them on the 14/10. My Alphard is a 2006 AS 2.4 in silver.
  20. I thought you might know of it, it’s very helpful.
