  1. Thank you both very much, I've been on Amazon but missed that. Heres hoping its the problem
  2. Hi Alphard broke down yesterday and the AA man got us going but wasnt able to pinpoint the problem. car would start but wouldnt run. Only thing the AA man did which might help was he took the efi relay off and tapped it on the ground. So because the car is back to running perfectly and I've no other ideas I am going to replace said relay. But I'm having trouble locating one. Can anybody help somebody who might stock/have one? Thanking you in advance. Markings on relay as follows: Relay ISO M4-S 90987-02010 156700-0060 12v 6E25
  3. Found this after a google search. https://club.autodoc.co.uk/manuals/how-to-change-pollen-filter-on-toyota-alphard-h1-replacement-guide-34124
  4. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, much apreciated.
  5. Hi Can anybody help? Where is the cabin filter on a 2003 3.0 alphard and is it easy to change?
  6. Further down on that page is this. 'We bought our Alphard with no intention of towing but getting back into sailing l wanted to tow my dinghy. l contacted the dvsa and was specifically told l could not tow without any weights on the VIN. They gave me a list of companies approved to issue a new VIN. l contacted a company called SVTech who issued me with a new VIN with a gvm of 1880 kg and gtw 3130 kg. This was done in conjunction with data from Toyota. So not a huge towing capacity but legal. My ins co would not insure without this. DVSA confirmed once my new plate was in place l was good to go. Total cost £144 . Took a few months but l’m happy l’m fully insured and legal.'
  7. Oops my mistake, and It seems there is no similar place for cars 😥
  8. Id be very interested in anything you come up with either way, for the moment Im sticking with the cycle carrier, and you'd probably get away with a small trailer but say a caravan might be a different kettle of fish altogether and of course theres always the insurance aspect, they do love a get out of jail card😂
  9. Hi I read this,https://andrewsjapanesecars.com/japanese-import-towing-weights/ , and ended up more confused than when I started, although it seems to indicate that if theres no towing info on the vin plate, you could be on dodgy ground. My importer/supplier initialy mentioned the issue.
  10. Apparently you Can have your vehicle tested by this place and if it passes your vehicle is place on the ulez list. https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=17389716
  11. Hi I have a tow bar fitted to my 2003 alphard for a cycle rack but be careful. I was told that the Alphard is not rated ( weight wise) for towing so strictly speaking its illegal. If I have been misinformed then I apologise in advance.
  12. Hiya I must be just round the corner from you, small world, anyway the question is did you fit a head unit yourself? if you did was it easy? and what head unit did you fit? Thanks Andy
