  1. Hello. I have an issue with a 3.0 Alphard 2007 plate. Gearbox was leaking fluid but stopped vehicle before it emptied, so not ran dry. Local garage advised auto transmission fluid pipe had burst and replaced it and refilled with new fluid. Advises that vehicle requires new gearbox as it is only engaging in Drive and there is no other gears, including reverse. Anyone have any experience of this and any idea if there is alternative checks that can be done before committing to a new gearbox as this is a massive expense. Any help would be appreciated.
