Security warning light
As far as I’m aware, this light indicates the engine immobiliser is active. Just a security thing.

IKEA Mattress Topper
We had a bespoke Duvalay mattress topper made for our r’n’r bed. This is a perfect fit, extremely comfortable, and stores away neatly. I’d recommend this for the long term, once you’ve got the dimensions etc of the sleeping area.

Newbies to a camper van
Hi Kim. Like Arthur, we’ve got a Vango Kilda drive away awning, which attaches to our fitted awning rail, under the pop top. This was purchased from Go Outdoors. We also got a tow bar fitted so that we could attach a bike rack that we purchased from Halfords. Very pleased with both additions.

Pop up roofs
Have you tried Calder Campers? They did our conversion. I’m sure they’re worth a try. Handy for your location.

Making bed comfortable?
We have a side conversion from Calder Campers, and we recently purchased a custom made mattress topper from Duvalay. It’s fantastic. The best sleep in the van so far!

2.4L or 3.0L 2004 Hard Top
Hi Michael, One of the reasons I went for the pop top was due to the third berth being rather restricted due to the storage cupboards. Any thoughts?

Tyre pressure on camper
For my side conversion from Calder Campers, the recommendation is 34 PSI , front and rear.

Not thinking of an awning, yet. We bought an Alvantor bubble tent, last year. So I’m think of using this as an extension. I’ll report in due course on the success of this! 🧐

Greetings from Glasgow
Dear all, I’ve recently purchased an Alphard campervan conversion from Calder Campers. I have been very impressed by all the discussions on the various adaptations that members have made to their vehicles. I’m afraid I took the easy option and got Calder Campers to do this for me. I’m a member of the Loch Lomond Sailing Club, so I’m really looking forward to using the Alphard to go up to the club and stay overnight at sailing weekends. I wonder if there is an Alphard group in Glasgow? 🤔
