Hi
What I did was to get "Google Translate App" for my iphone. Once installed tap the Google Translate App it opens the app. Point your phone at the text you want to translate.Take a photo of words/text to translate. You get the translated text send it to "Translate Home" there will be a paste button. Press this and the translated text will appear. It's good for short text/single words. I wrote down the words and pasted them over the Japanese script
Not 100% accurate but good enough.
Hope that this help
Hi
I am relatively new to the exciting world of camping.
I have an Alphard with a 6mm awning strip that stretches along the roof over the door.
This has a 6mm diameter I bought an awning camper van tent which also had a 6mm strip.
So, I can't attach the awning to the Camper van. Can anyone advise the correct size of awning attachment kits I would get.
Hi
Hope that everyone is keeping safe.
Well because of the issues with the music system that is in my Alphard, which is a 2006 car and recently converted, does anyone have any suggestions for a good Entertainment system, that I could use to replace the existing one. On my previous comments concerning this I wanted to replace the system because all the script was in Japanese and to listen to music you has to insert a CD or to watch a movie a DVD.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
James
Hi Thanks
I managed to get the CD out and if anyone needs to do the same here are the steps I used.
1) Put key in turn it to "on"
2) CD player will (hopefully) try to expel the CD.
3) If not use tweezers too carefully grab hold off Cd and "viola" the CD is out.
Hope this helps anyone else who has this issue/problem
Hi
Hope everyone is safe and keeping well. I am not having a lot of luck with the entertainment system. I put in a CD and now that CD has stuck inside. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I could remove a CD from the player.
Thanks
James
Hi
With regards to my last post about changing the language from Japanese to English. It would appear that the easiest way is to replace the entertainment/head unit itself. Does anyone know where this could be done (if possible)? The camper is a 2006 TOYOTA ALPHARD. Look forward to reading all your comments. Best wishes
Hi
Thanks a million for getting back to me so quickly. As requested I attach several photos of the head unit. I am very much a novice at this and this was a way to enjoy retirement by travelling around.
I do hope you can advise what would be the best way forward. Thanks so much James
Hi
We just bought a 2006 Alphard, a fantastic fun. The only issue is that all the written instructions on the Head Unit are all in Japanese not English. Is there anyway that all the instruction can be set in English? Thanks in advance
