We have reluctantly decided to sell our Alpard camper conversion. We love it but we are now after something a bit bigger. Price £11,450 ono Year 2003 Mileage: approx 80,000 MOT till June 2025 Very clean vehicle inside and out. Toyota Alphard imported from Japan in 2022 and converted to a campervan with a rear kitchen. Two rows of seats, with a table and side seats behind. The middle seats can be rotated. Gas hob with two burners. Sink with electric water pump. Plenty of cupboard space which can be accessed front and back, so that cooking can be done outside or from the inside. Electric hookup with 240v socket plus leisure battery charger. Coolbox with fridge in lid. 12 volt internal lighting and USB charging. Table and middle seats can be lowered and converted into a full width double bed. Two sunroofs. Accessories include a drive-away awning and front/side window blackout shields. Tow bar fitted. Only 80,000 miles. Radio, CD player, satnav, aircon, reversing camera, electric side doors. Petrol engine with Automatic transmission, it is a pleasure to drive. Amazing condition for its age. As a small camper it is ideal - charged as a car on ferries, and only 2m high it fits in height restricted carparks etc. Two new front tyres fitted less than 2000 miles ago. It's the seat behind the driver's seat. On the inside when the seat is facing forwards

After a trip away our Alphard (2003 2.4L) has a couple of minor repairs required. First is a broken clip that holds the front fairing, had to have a tempoary fix of gaffer tape to stop it popping out (see photo). The second is the plastic cap that covers a seat hinge - the tabs have broken off (see other photo) and it doesn't stay in place. Are these parts possible to obtain in the UK?

That looks very interesting, presumably you don't need a tail board with lights and numberplate if it is mounted as shown?

As he wasnt sure, the fitter did them up to 180 Nms which is about 132 ft lbs. So they are not likely to come loose!

Can anyone recommend a bike rack that fits on the rear door of an Alphard and still allows the door to be opened even when a bike is loaded?

I had some new tyres fitted, and the fitters were a bit concerned that they couldn't find the manufacturer's recommended wheel nut torque in their database. Does anyone know what it is? (2003 Alphard 2.4L)

I just followed the advice above - using the year of manufacture (2003 in our case -> Euro 3)

Correction: it's about 8km /litre (our odometer is in km), so about 45 miles after the warning light.

Thanks, I think we're getting at least 8 miles / litre. So that's about 70 miles. No need to panic when the light comes on then 🙂
