  1. Hi, yes it's the current Japanese Vin on "ANH20-1234567". I have only been sent a photo of the Auction Sheet as the original was sent to the DVLA for registration (is that required?). I would have liked the CarVX check just to confirm independently though....
  2. Hi. I took a photo of the VIN on the Alphard I’m looking to buy last week (2011, 2.4) and checked this against the dealers copy of the auction sheet which matched. I wanted to do my own VRX check, but when I put the number in it says “vehicle not found” has anyone had this problem? I just want to verify accident damage and mileage really. Thanks
  3. Hello all, I’m glad to be here. I’ve been looking for a JDM van for a few months, and have test drove a few Elgrands. I wanted something that could easily be somewhere to sleep, so I liked the Elgrands for the electric curtains (I’ve not seem these on the Alphard). After more research though, I have decided on an Alphard (hoping for a facelift c.2009). I did this for three reasons; 1) reported reliability over Elgrands 2) reported slightly better fuel MPG over Elgrands 3) Alphard outsells Elgrand in JDM and they know both vans better than me! I’ve put my name down for the Gaydon meet, it would be great to see your vans so I know which version to look for at the auctions. Thanks! Spk
