Cold Air Con
Everthing is off. No AC light, No Auto Light, No Front or Rear Demisters just one recycling lamp which doesn't seem to want to go off. Have closed vents in the dash. Feet stay relatively warm. Colder air causing windscreen fogging use delisted high speed cold air blowing onto windscreen, clears the screen but chills the car. Switch off and press AC button, adjust temperature to 22 degrees fan/blower on level 3, cold air blowing onto feet and if opening the vents in the dash cold air blasting onto hands and face. As I said earlier, heating worked fine after the service, demisters weren't needed at the time.

Cold Air Con
Recently had service and MOT, no issues but this past few days the blower, regardless of speed, blows only cold air, heating is fine without the blower fan on, but switch to demist and everything blows cold. I did see something the other day about this but can’t find it now. Any ideas why? Pollen and cabin filters replaced as part of service, everything worked.

Insurance. Quite an eye opener
Excellent, he quoted me almost £500 for my 2007.

Rear light cluster
Thanks for that Chris.

Rear light cluster
Rear light cluster, 2007, 10 series, three red lights. Outer most and middle tail lights, outer most brake light. What is the third red light nearest the reverse light used for/by, as the right hand reverse light is being used a rear fog. Can’t figure out whether or not it is supposed to be rear fog, or has a use on a later/different model but using same lamp cluster.

Hi all, I have roof bars and box from my previous vehicle does anyone have suggestions for a fitting kit to allow fitting of Thule roof bars that do not obstruct the sliding door mechanism?

Insurance. Quite an eye opener
Excellent. I know we all live in different areas and we all have different circumstances, hence different quotes for similar vehicles, well done.

Insurance. Quite an eye opener
Quite agree. It sometimes doesn’t pay to go direct.

Insurance. Quite an eye opener
Hi all, Took delivery of my 2007 Alphard yesterday, insurance is quite interesting, my current insurance provider does not insure Alphard (Saga) I tried the RAC, who quoted £2875.00, Churchill quoted £1875.00, I thought, lets try the comparison sites, yes you guessed it, quite a few insurers won't touch them, but more surprisingly is that both Churchill and the RAC were both quoting substantially less. £426 from one and £465 from the other. Quite illuminating. Insurance has since been acquired from RAC due to something going wrong and not going through to Churchill as expected. I await next years renewal premium with interest.

I have found an English version of the handbook but was wondering if anyone had managed to locate an English version of the manual for the HDD unit on the 2002 - 2008 Alphard.
