So, my Alphard is now back on the road. The fuse in the battery bit, and a fuse under the bonnet linking to the hybrid battery. Both have been replaced and she started up first time. Really useful knowledge from this site, thank you very much. Especially Lee (Picaso) who spotted the problem correctly and the auto electrician who really knew his stuff. I do love this camper but am now looking for something a little bigger. Thank you everyone.

Good news it is this part that is the problem bad news there isn’t a part showing in the country! does anyone know of a supplier? I will order direct from Japan but won’t be here till the end of Jan 😟 thanks all for your help vivian

A socket suggests something that plugs in?

Yes new battery got power is a booster jump lead different from ordinary ones? where might the socket be or what does it look like?

It is a hybrid i bought it in feb last year 2022 has run great without probs i used it about 3 weeks ago before the frost, came to use it two days ago and it was dead. I’m assuming the frost is the issue. However, attempting to fit the wrong battery may be the problem. battery is located between the front seats the new battery is still installed i need to get a battery charger! Thanks for replying 😊

Thanks for your reply! it’s a brand new battery if an attempt was made to connect it the wrong way round would it have shorted anything?

Vehicle is completely dead. new battery installed - nothing. Help please.
