So after much searching and many painful phone calls the cheapest insurance I could get was £600 fully comp from Adrian Flux. Im 58, 20 plus no claims and no penalty points or convictions. The insurance industry is the latest rip off merchants jumping on the lets rip off the general public for all we can ethos. Really pisses me off the way this country is going. Rant over.

Hi all, Im just about to get my newly imported Vellfire on the road and will over the months be converting it into a day camper van with drive away awning. I also intend to build my own modular rear pull out kitchen so will post up pics and vids of the work as it comes along. it wont be a full conversion as I intend to use the van as a daily driver and remove the pod over the winter. My main question is has anyone here converted the front seats to be able to swivel and if so what plates did you use and how it turned out. many thanks.

I was wondering if my local paint store would be able to recognise the vin code on the van or is there a paint code stamped somewhere on it, most cars usually have. It's just they might not be able to match the code with it being an import. Thanks Skippy I may try the local Dealer first.

Thanks Arthur, just checked and they are in the cubby hole near side rear as you said. Brand new and never been used.

I see the My Vellfire comes with an undermount spare wheel but i cant seem to locate a jack or wheel tools. any idea where if any they may be or does the car not get supplied with them. Cheers

Hi Folks, first post here. I have my 2011 Vellfire in pearl white and black Antara interiour being delivered tomorrow. The only thing that im not 100% on is the wood effect dash surrounds. I'd prefer piano black tbh. is there a cover set you can get for these or has anyone tried coating them with wrap or something similar. looking forward to keeping up with all things Vellfire/Alphard.
