  1. I agree, typical 🙄 insurance trying to play on words. But it's worth checking
  2. Let me know what you paid for tracker and how easy it is to fit.
  3. Ours was done Prof before I bought it not sure who buy and not got the paperwork, but that was only the popyop, cooker, sink and internal lights and electrical equipment, we have done everything else like heater and bed etc
  4. Hi Gary, Yeah I put factory fitted, but then I went in the small print and found this. Unless all factory fitted are Thatcham approved?
  5. Hi Gary, I can't have Protected no claims because I only have 2 years on campervan. The small print says my immobiliser needs to be Thatcham approved how do I know if it is if it is a factory fitted one?
  6. Hi Betty Just done a quote with them and it's £757 exc legal cover! To expensive for me
  7. Hi Gary, I have just done a quote with them and it came in at £369, impressive! Beats nearly £900 with Flux. Just going through all the small print lol. They will not cover commuting? I don't use it for that but just need it just in case my car has to go in garage. I will see what they say when I call them, thanks 😊
  8. Hi, I have just had my renewal quote from Flux and it has gone up around £280. Who is everyone using as their campervan insurance provider?

  10. I need to get some stronger springs for my rear suspension as it is carrying a lot of weight (rear kitchen etc) also carry a rack on towbar maximum of 50 kilos. It sits quite low on wheel arch so I want to lift them. Any recommendations please?
  11. Thanks so much for your support really appreciated 🙏 😊
  12. Thanks, I had just asked Kev that question. I will call them tomorrow and let them know. Thanks for all you help everyone 🙏
  13. Thank you so much for that information, now that makes sense. So because alphards are imported mainly because of conversion and have not been made for export I am legal to tow? Marvellous. Bought it with a tow bar and Thule rack so I will not br frightened of using it now if needed. Do I need to tell my insurance that there us a towbar on my van?
  14. Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Its a minefield. My Vin plate shows no weights. I have the towbar fitted it came with it and a Thule Rack to carry a maximum of 50 kilos. Can it be classed as towing cos it has no contact with the road?
