Hi Arthur
Thanks for getting back to me. I was really wanting to avoid putting holes into the van or using a glue substance, but if that is the only way to get an awning to stay put I will have to do it.
Thanks for your help π I will search awnings on here π
how are you guys attaching an awning/ awning rail?
I have tried the magnetic and the suction ones and they just won't stay on. I have a pop top could that be the problem?
Yes I charged in the vehicle connected through the mains hook up for 2 days. I don't have a smart charger but will be buying one. It is a 100 amp battery. I am on a split charger. Can't see a date on the battery but was converted 2021. I have a volt display at the back of the van with the on off switch.
Hope this helps
Hi, sorry for delay your message went into my junk email!!
My battery started on 12.7 it is now on 11.7 and will not go any higher. Been charging it on my mains and it will not budge.
Do you think it is damaged?
Got my camper, love it. Just spent 2 nights away with no electric hook up ( brave I know!). We had the cooler box plugged in and after 12 hours we had no power, leisure battery dead. What did I do wrong? Thought I would get at least 2 days?
Everything is coming with the van, so got the cushions and self inflatable mattress, awning, sun canopy, loo and loo tent and a towing rack. The bed when down looks fabulous.
You have been so helpful, can't wait to do some wild off grid camping for a couple of days cos not got a solar panel.
Hi,
No reason really but it may be useful and more comfortable to sleep on......maybe.
I will be covering the seats we have a lurcher so I don't want them damaging. She has a hammock so won't be directly on the seats but, I don't want them damaging.
Thank you so much for your time. We are really excited to collect it and drive her 150 miles home!
Regards
Syl
