Hi

I'm trying to replace the reversing bulb on my Alphard, do i have to remove all the rear door internal covers to get to it, does anyone know?

Unscrew gear knob to left, towards passenger door.

Hi Martin, i don't believe the hybrid is the same as ours, i think that once the three screws are removed and the two push plugs, it appears that there are straight plastic pins, on the left hand side of the cowl but i, like you cannot move the cover. At present i am stumped, maybe the carpet has to be removed??

Hi, My Alphard is a standard petrol 2.4 Alphard V 2008.

Hi, Going back slightly, i have dropped the shift lock button into the abyss, i have followed some steps, removing the two press plugs, removed the bottom draw and found a screw there. Found another screw on the right and also another behind the lower glove box. Still can't remove the cover. Have i missed anything?

Hi, Did you ever get the cover off? I have dropped the shift lock button into the abyss, i have tried the steps and found another screw behind the lower glove box and one on the right. Still can't get the wrap around cover off. I know this was 2019 but hoping.

Yes the Sony is an after market unit, it appears that all the original plugs are  behind the Sony head. question now is as my Alphard has a SatNav aerial, drop down TV, reversing camera and a very large rear view mirror which seems to have a place for a big SD card, where would be the best place to start? As it would be nice to get all these items working again, original head unit or new? I think i need a motor electrician or electronics guy or both.

Hi, I'm Kevin and have just bought a 2.4 Alphard V, 2008, mine has a drop down TV however i cannot get it to work as i believe there should be a dvd player under the passenger seat? It has a Sony DSX B700 head unit, not sure if dvd was removed when this was fitted. Can you tell me if the dvd units are available? Can a Toyota Sienna fit?

Any help would be gratefully received.
