    Help! Looking to buy from Northern Ireland...

    Sharon H posted a topic in Questions on Buying a Toyota Alphard or Vellfire in the UK.
    I have tried looking online but I'm getting conflicting info....does anyone know if I can buy an Alphard from UK (looking at one in Reading, so I would fly over and get the boat back again with the car) or would I be required to pay Customs and/or VAT on the purchase. Northern Ireland is part of the UK, but I'm unsure as it will have been originally an imported vehicle from Japan....please help before I commit to buying!
