Haha, I'm not concerned about failing any sort of future inspections, as here in Canada things are a bit different.

Do these bulbs use CANBUS, if switching to LED (specifically the fog lights and all headlight bulbs?) ..or better to buy non-CANBUS LED bulbs?

Thanks Rojie. I think he is referring to the actuator which starts the process when you pull the handle. I have aready replaced this as it was getting a bit lazy. This bit works fine. Its the end of the process when the door actually pulls itself finally shut before locking. You can here it after the beeping, there is a whirring noise and the dooe pulls in ot the locking mechanism.
I know there's a couple bolts on the top and lower brackets for the door (that hold the door onto the vehicle).
Maybe you can loosen those and then adjust the door a little more inward towards the van, and then tighten the bolts up again.
Give it a try and get back to me.

Just received my 04 Alphard G from Japan yesterday, and have come across alot more issues, than I was first made aware of ..
Most notably, my rear sliding door on the drivers side, does not automatically close/open at all (via remote, dash button, or opening with inside/outside handle), nor does the window go up or down.
I took off the door card and I got the door to automatically close for a little bit, and then it stopped completely again.
Checked all the wiring, the harnesses and actuators/motors ..but can't find the problem here.
The door also clunks very loudly, every time it brings the door in to latch and lock. I think the door just needs to be realigned though, which I will do tomorrow.

Anyone know how these bulbs come out, right next to the pillars? I've been trying for the last 10mn and cannot figure it out.
Thanks in advance.
