A follow up on this,
The part number for the Rear Differential is G105058021 and is available (new) for a tidy sum over at Amayama Trading Co.
Thankfully I heard from my mechanic today that the clunk is actually just a worn out bushing on the rear differential, which is a HUGE relief.

Hi there,
Does anyone know where I can get a used one of these, or if they still make them in Japan?
Mine is making a single clunk sound when going from 0-5km/h. If anyone has experience with this being perhaps a timing/chip issue please let me know!
Cheers

Hi there,
I'm about to switch over to my winter tyres and need to know the torque measurement when installing them. I dug around and found some tracking info, but no definite answer for the torque measurement.

I'm happy to report that toyota part number 2880028100 is a perfect match, here in north america. It has the JIS terminals!
I also learned that Toyota dealerships (in Canada at least) set their own prices. When hunting for this battery the price varied from $391 all the way up to $560!
Thanks again for the help

Hi there,
I'm looking for the precise specs for the 12v battery needed for a 2006 Alphard Hybrid (cold climate - canada). VIN: ATH10-0020415
I've seen some other threads about this, but none of them have the precise specs. I would love if someone with a manual could chime in!
Thanks in advance.
2006 Hybrid Battery Replacement-how much does it affect km/l
in Toyota Alphard Hybrid (2002 - 2008)

Hi there
In the summer I'm currently averaging 12km/l and in the winter (canada) that can go as low as 9. I'm thinking of replacing my hybrid battery, but before I do I'm wondering if anyone here has done the same and documented the improvement in km/l. Is 12km/l low for this model?
I'm not getting an error code to replace the hybrid battery, but it's not keeping a 3 bar charge for very long.
Even if you haven't replaced your hybrid batter please feel free to list your model year and summer km/l numbers. I'd like to know how mine is fairing in comparison.
Cheers
