    I have a 2010 2.4 Vellfire and ever since I've had it, I can only fill the petrol tank up to just over 3/4 on the gauge before the pump clicks off. The most I've ever managed to put in is 43 litres when I'd done quite a few miles with the petrol warning light on. Given the tank is supposed to be 65 litres, that seems a bit low. Fuel consumption seems OK, I can get 33mpg on a long run. All I can think of is there is some kind of air lock in the tank or the warning light comes on too early, or both. Has anyone seen this before and/or does anyone know what the problem might be?

    Thanks

    Neil

    I had the same problem with my 2007, went to the mechanic, and suggested changing the sender (83320), waiting for parts to arrive in Canada, and replacing the part to see if it was the problem.

    The parts I need for the Alphard are the;

    front brake pads (04465-65021)

    rear parking brake shoe assembly

    (46590-44010)

    rear rotor (42431-28091 or 42431-28090)

    when cross checking the parts numbers to see which North American sold Toyota models used these parts, it seems like the difficulty will be in trying to source the rear rotor/rotors. Any online databases I’ve searched show Toyota only used that part on the Alphard and the Tarago. I called a local Toyota dealer to see if their part database could bring something up, but on their North American system it shows the part number as invalid. So if anyone reading this has any suggestions on how I can source these in a timely manner, let me know please.

    Cheers

    Hi there, my name is Kreuz, from Ontario as well. Now I am looking for rotor parts too. And I found the same part number as you did. So that should be the right one. Did you get part from a local Toyota store or just purchased from Japan or eBay?

    Thank you

    Hi. I don't have a problem mailing it to Canada but no idea the likely cost.  I can suss it out but maybe Picasso is right in saying get it directly from the publisher?

    I can arrange a UPS shipping label for you. You just need to pack and drop.
