  1. Just letting people know that after reading this forum I have fitted a swivel seat to the front passenger side in our camper conversion. I ordered the part from Forcester Engineering for about £220 delivered (they are super nice people by the way) Comes with no instructions at all so had to figure it out by just doing it (watched a seat removal video which helped alot with getting seat out). When fitting the part it became apparent the plastic chair base surround would not fit back on without cutting it so decided to leave off, but may put back on after alterations when I get the time. The swivel mechanism is solid and sturdy, and really a good addition to the van, well worth the doing if you're thinking about it.

  2. My 2008 ANH20 Vellfire doesn't have a swivel seat, and looking at fitting one myself to front passenger. I've seen the firm that installs them, but that is a lot to spend. Does anyone know if something like this would fit https://carlightbulb.com/products/universal-motorhome-seat-swivel-turntable-campervan-chassis-modification?currency=GBP&variant=42860810109090&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google Shopping&stkn=d7752ef57dbc&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw26KxBhBDEiwAu6KXt37DRUZg_FqE5WjMDxNFkwTkdI8F4cwULcj2wCvhJfLcVM7IRBXjYBoCfhcQAvD_BwE Has anyone had experience of fitting them themselves at all, and if so, was it difficult? May order I stead from Frocester engineering as they custom make to order and tell me a FCS83 fits an 08 Vellfire - cost delivered is around £230. Any ideas/advice appreciated.
  3. I got it off eBay Cable https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124808047632?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=e2zvldr0qu6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=CLs1bZe0Qqa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY And key https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185430331382?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Z-VLY7pmSYm&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=CLs1bZe0Qqa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Originally didn't using the complicated set up of running on 64 bit windows, which did my key fine but did not allow any customisation of beeps etc. later did it the virtual machine way (so runs off old Windows) using Japan as region and all options available. Well worth the small investment.
  4. Did you very get a new head unit that fitted easily? My 08 Vellfire has had a crap android unit put in so no reversing camera, no DAB, no android auto (it really is cheap junk they've put in). Looking to get a new head unit that fits, but like you the mess of cables behind these units is staggering!
  5. I posted in a other forum but thought I'd just share here that I bought the £10 stalk off eBay for my 2008 Vellfire and it fitted super easy and cruise control works. (No light on dash to confirm it's on but soon get used to that). So a success thanks to this forum.
  6. Just to add to this forum, I have a 2008 Vellfire I bought a few weeks back- after reading this forum I bought the stick for less than £10 on eBay. Fitting it super easy, on Vellfire it's easy to do without disconnecting the airbag (just moving it out of the way). Socket there to plug in. Thought it did not work at first as no light on dash, however have checked and fully working Cruise control for little money and 10 minutes work. Thanks to these forums!
  7. Just to add to this forum a success; Bought a 2008 Vellfire a few weeks back - only one key (4 button with lock/unlock, open side doors, also smart key in that doors unlock when you have it on you and touch the handle). Followed Chris above in forums, bought a spare (checked code on chip to ensure the same as one I had), bought the cable which comes with software and installed on my very old Windows 10 laptop (person I bought off sent a disc for 64 bit installation). All reasonably straight forward, new key programmed first time so now have 2 identical keys that work (just need to get blade cut now). All for £75, including software to hopefully alter some settings too. Thanks to these forums. Anyone want advice just let me know.
