  1. Mine is black too , but it matches what my interior looks like . In fact when first done I couldn`t find it . Just think of the money you will save that always spurs me on .
  2. Hi Paul, very well done . I have already sorted my cruise , ( well not me personally ) I took it to an importer in Worcestershire . All working , just been to France getting over 30 mpg . I feel it would of been more , but my Brother- in - Law drove at least half the time . And sadly he has a lead foot LOL At the moment I filled the tank after getting back home . So. just waiting to run out to test it again . All the best with what you`ve done hope you get more miles too .
  3. Hi Lee , thank you for the info on the location . Will let you know how I got on cheers
  4. Hi Lee, I only have a total because he is doing a couple of jobs for me as well . I will ask him to break it down , and then let you know. He is charging me £150.00 all in hopefully. Sorting the rear charging point \ cig lighter. And looking at why the engine runs fast whilst cold . I did the YOU TUBE thing, turning the key off and on twice holding it in drive with the footbrake on . Helped a little but as I start it it`s around 2000 revs and I like to wait for it to come down before engaging the gearbox .Once warm it now ticks over about 900 revs . So a little better . Cheers Joe
  5. Hi All , I have at last booked my 2006 ALPHARD in to have cruise control fitted . Thanks to Lee who got involved from the start . He found a dealer who is an importer of the Toyota Alphard in Worcester . When I called them , they were very helpful and asked just one main question . ( Does it have a mirror on the N/S front wing if so this denotes a facelift model ) So, he is adamant he can do it after splicing certain wires . I will come back and tell you how it went , having it done Wednesday I can wait for it,cafe on site , it wont take too long, and he has all the parts and it`s a great price too.
  6. Hello Pcous , I have another number to try kindly given to me by Lee (Picasso ) this one is in Worcester. A bit nearer than Wigan to me . But always grateful for any ideas from anyone ref the Alphard . So many on here saying it is possible to fit to my 2006 2.4 . Yet the guy I took it too said yes it was all there but he was unsure about the wiring solely because of the year . Apparently he did a 2007 no problem . So, this is where I am at the moment . On a side note I also have a Focus cc3 2000 LTR Turbo D just having the alloys refurbed with cruise control .One of the reasons for wanting it on the Alphard . In my opinion Cruise is one of the best accessories ever .I`m old enough to remember Overdrive where you flicked a switch to ( cruise ) Oh glad you mentioned the limit to 68 MPH I wasn`t aware of this the CC has no limit . I have no problem with speed limiter it`s fine . Thanks again Kind Regards Joe . P.S. Like iv`e said I will keep everyone updated as to when I get it sorted.
  7. Hi All especially John Harrison and Derek Sullivan Thanks for all of your input ref: the Cruise Control I am taking it in tomorrow .I will let you all know how much it cost I don`t expect it to be cheap it`s being done by RSM AUTOS of Penkridge but I am hoping it`s all done professionally, All good what I have heard about the company he has been importing Japanese vehicles for some time so, hopefully he can help. New to this site , and the way things work so, please bear with me .
  8. No problem taking it Tuesday no idea how long the job will be but will let you know asap . Thanks again !
  9. One of my recent posts where I asked about Cruise Control for my 2006 Alphard . I was helped by one of the moderators called Picasso . Very grateful for his input on the matter .After a little soul searching I decided against doing the conversion myself . The car I have has been really looked after , so, I didn`t want to spoil it. This said I found in a roundabout way a gentleman called Richard Morgan RSM autos from PENKRIDGE near Stafford who is going to fit the cruise , so, just hope it all works . Also, he fits the alternative head units if you don`t want the Japanese one . I was given his name by a young man from W R Davies Stafford who was extremely helpful. ( Dave in Parts ) So, I will keep you all posted if the cruise works. Fingers crossed .
  10. Hello Lee, Wow I was expecting the answer no . Thank you so much . I will take a look at the threads , Very much appreciated Lee .
  11. Hello Lee, Thank you for getting back to me my Reg is ME06 EEN
  12. Hello and thank you to the club for accepting me . I have only had the Alphard a couple of weeks now , and was wondering if my vehicle could have Cruise Control fitted . It is a 2006 Auto 2.4 . I have looked on youtube for answers but not really had much luck, or time to sort it really. I was in two minds whether or not to take it to my nearest Toyota Dealer . Thanks for any help on the matter . By the way I have had lots of vehicles in my life , but nothing like this it`s amazing !
